NASSAU COUNTY: SCHOOLS
Generally speaking, Nassau County has an amazing public school system. Class sizes are small, facilities are updated and charming and the curriculum is challenging and appropriate. There is also very high parent involvement in our Nassau County, Long Island schools. However, not every system is perfect.
We have created listings to help cover the gaps in our current school systems:
PRE-SCHOOLS (Nursery & Pre-Kindergarten)
One area where our school system can be found lacking is in the Pre-School department. While some towns have public pre-school available, it is not available in every town in Nassau County.
PRIVATE SCHOOLS
For some families, the private school system is the way to go. Whether for religious, social or other reasons, some families may feel that they need to explore private schools for their children. Nothing wrong with that.
TUTORING
Whether your children attend public or private schools, some of our kids need just a little bit of help. That is where our list of tutors come into play.
OTHER SCHOOLS
This is a listing of specialized schools for specialized subjects. Not really tutoring, more like supplemental education. Our public school system can't cover every subject under the sun! Hopefully, you will find it helpful.
